The charity jungle needs a compass reader

Posted on

Some of my friends and I, have wanted to find out where the best place to give our money would be. There are enough tales about corruption and money disappearing for me to do some research on the subject, and I thought one way of starting this research was by letting you write what you give your money too, and maybe even comment on why the charity gagayou have chosen, is a good choice!

I don’t know that ChildFund is so fantastic, but the money that is donated doesn’t seem to disappear into “administrative costs” entirely. Actually, if I were to rethink my giving, I would probably give to the UN Human Rights Commission or to Red Cross. They are probably doing the best work internationally. But the UNHRC workers just aren’t as aggressive in pursuing donations.
